In order for this story to make sense, I must begin by telling you that, besides our deep love for each other, my late, ex-husband, Roger, and I also shared a similarity in our birthdates. All the numbers are either fives or ones and we were both born in 1951. He passed away eight years ago. After all this time, I unexpectedly received something in the mail regarding him that I needed to respond to. So, for the past few days, he has been on my mind.
Apparently, I have been on his as well.
The other morning, right after sending an email in response to the letter I had received, I decided to check and see if a recently published article of mine could be viewed online. I discovered that it could. When I went to “Share it with a friend”, I was stunned to see the security code. As you know, the codes are usually gibberish and difficult to read. This one could not have been clearer.

Over the years, I have so often felt Roger’s presence. I have more stories than you can imagine! Sometimes, though, I will go a while without thinking about our deep connection. Somehow, he always finds a way to remind me.
